A leading logistics company in Johannesburg is seeking a Customer Relationship Manager to manage customer relationships, maximize profits, and lead sales channels. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 5 in a management role, with strong skills in sales and customer service. Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Tertiary education in Business or a related discipline (Commercial Business Marketing preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a mid-sized organization in a related industry, including at least 5 years of management experience in consumer/retail and/or marketing planning. Experience in transport and forwarding is an advantage.
Self-starter with strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to derive key insights and present them simply and compellingly.
Business sales and planning skills.
Customer-centric with a market focus.
Understanding key issues and problem-solving abilities.

Role Context
Manage and develop customer relationships within the Multichannel Territory and Digital Accounts. Maximize profit through structured processes, including annual contact plans utilizing calls, emails, campaigns, re-qualification, and digital marketing in collaboration with marketing. Lead and coach sales channels and qualifiers to achieve revenue, productivity, and KPI targets. Ensure independent lead qualification processes are maintained.
