Assist in developing and implementing BYD's dealer network growth strategy across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify high‑potential regions for NEV dealership opportunities.
- Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for new dealer appointments.
- Maintain and update the dealer pipeline and expansion tracker.
- Manage all administrative tasks related to dealer onboarding, approvals, and compliance.
- Coordinate documentation for dealer agreements, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate record‑keeping and timely reporting to the Head of Dealer Development & Training.
- Compile and analyze data on dealer performance, market trends, and NEV adoption rates.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on network development progress.
- Support management with insights for strategic decision‑making.
- Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Training) to ensure alignment on dealer development initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for prospective dealers during the onboarding process.
- Ensure all dealer development activities adhere to BYD's global standards and South African regulatory requirements.
- Monitor dealer readiness for NEV sales and service capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in dealer development, network planning, or automotive industry roles.
- Strong understanding of New Energy Vehicle (NEV) market trends and dealership operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM or dealer management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
