We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our team and take ownership of our organization's data architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex data systems. They will work closely with our engineering, data science, and business teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure our data infrastructure meets our evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Data Architecture : Develop and maintain an optimal data architecture blueprint that supports our organization's business needs, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Data Modeling : Design and implement logical and physical data models that translate business requirements into data solutions. Ensure data models are scalable, flexible, and adhere to best practices.
• Data Integration : Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the process. Design and implement ETL processes as needed.
• Database Management : Manage and optimize database systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Data Governance and Compliance : Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Work with legal and compliance teams to adhere to relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, provide guidance, and support data-related initiatives.
• Documentation and Training : Document data architecture designs, standards, and processes. Provide training and support to internal teams on data-related tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
