Responsibilities
- Planning, study and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour.
- Daily, weekly and monthly sales report.
- Cost certification reconciliation and Additional Expenses reconciliation.
- Managing PBO’s closure, routing and formulation cost updates.
- Freight Out Reports indicating the cost per unit measure and allocation by product for Mapei.
- Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing weighted average costings to actual production costs
- Assisting in stock counting and auditing stock management.
- Cost simulation calculations on direct material changes – Price, quantity
- Prepare periodic cost reports.
- Verifying Products Marginality.
- Ad hoc costing linked requested
- Support with annual budgeting process
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in relevant field
- Tertiary Education or Degree in Cost and Management Accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiencies
- Preferred experience in Manufacturing sector dealing with costing and rates calculations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, good judgement.
