About Our Client

The Role: Cooling Engineer

As the Cooling Engineer, you will support the Director of Sales and the broader Sales Team by developing accurate and timely technical and commercial proposals. Your role is to engineer customized cooling solutions based on customer needs, handle calculations and component selection, and ensure smooth collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and questionnaires
  • Translate customer requirements into engineered solutions
  • Perform cooling capacity and cost calculations
  • Coordinate with suppliers on specifications and innovations
  • Create cost estimates across systems and services
  • Develop technical proposals that showcase solution advantages
  • Prepare detailed quotations and maintain CRM records
  • Support Operations and After-Sales with technical input
  • Assist in procurement, quality assurance, and design validation

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in agritech, cold chain, or infrastructure
  • Degree or Diploma in Refrigeration or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of thermal and mechanical engineering principles
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
