Our Client, operating in the Pharmaceutical space, is seeking to employ a Consumer Brand Manager (Digital) to their team based in Parktown Johannesburg.

The Consumer Brand Manager is responsible for building consumer-facing brand equity through innovative, compliant marketing campaigns with a strong focus on digital, insights, and consumer engagement. This role ensures our client's brands connect with end-users across the entire customer journey while driving brand awareness, loyalty, and market share.

Responsibilities

Consumer Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement consumer campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
  • Translate brand strategies into engaging consumer messaging.
  • Lead influencer marketing initiatives, PR campaigns, and pharmacy activations.

Digital Marketing & Insights

  • Manage digital platforms, content calendars, websites, and social media.
  • Execute performance marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, paid social, programmatic).
  • Use analytics, consumer research, and feedback to optimise digital campaigns.

Consumer Engagement

  • Map and enhance the consumer journey with loyalty-building interventions.
  • Execute retail activations, promotions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop consumer education materials (leaflets, videos, online content).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align consumer and HCP messaging in collaboration with the Rx Brand Manager.
  • Coordinate with agencies, research firms, and creative vendors for campaign execution.

Compliance

  • Ensure all consumer marketing activities comply with SAHPRA and ASA codes.
