Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee daily site activities, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure construction work is executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining site productivity, quality control, and timely delivery of construction milestones.

Purpose of the Position

The primary objective of this position is to manage all on-site operations, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards while maintaining cost efficiency and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor progress against project timelines and targets, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and safety briefings to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure site activities align with project specifications and schedules, minimizing delays and rework.
  • Collaborate with QA / QC teams to manage and coordinate inspections.
  • Arrange and lead regular site staff meetings, safety committee meetings, etc.
Technical Oversight
  • Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate site records and daily reports, providing visibility into project progress.
  • Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments to ensure site safety.
  • Compile and regularly update project programs, tracking key milestones and deadlines.
  • Prepare detailed contractor reports, highlighting areas of success and improvement.
  • Establish, report, and close out nonconformities to maintain site integrity.
Health, Safety & Environment
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among site personnel.
  • Monitor site conditions to ensure compliance with environmental standards, minimizing waste and pollution.
  • Manage site cleanliness, waste control, and security to create a positive work environment.
Certification & Qualifications
