Duties & Responsibilities

• In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and South African building regulations.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, contract management principles (JBCC, NEC, FIDIC), and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multiple subcontractors.
• Financial acumen in budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach to site challenges.
• Effective time management with the ability to develop and monitor detailed project schedules.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5+ years’ experience in construction or site management (10+ years preferred for senior‑level responsibilities).
• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in civil or renewable energy sectors.
• Strong background in supervising contractors, site teams, and project progression.
• Bachelor’s or Honours Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related Built Environment field.
