As the Construction Foreman you will lead and supervise daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by directing workers, interpreting plans, managing resources, enforcing safety protocols (like PPE use), scheduling tasks, and serving as the key link between crew members and management. They read blueprints, delegate responsibilities, monitor quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records, making critical decisions in stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise all site activities, ensuring work aligns with blueprints, codes, and quality standards.
  • Crew Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff, delegating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Safety Enforcement: Uphold strict safety standards, ensure proper use of PPE (helmets, goggles, etc.), and conduct safety training.
  • Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and budgets, ensuring adequate resources for schedules.
  • Communication: Act as the liaison between workers, project managers, and other stakeholders, reporting progress and resolving conflicts.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop work schedules, coordinate tasks, and adjust for site changes like weather or material delays.
  • Problem‑Solving: Identify and resolve issues as they arise on site.
