Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the commercial vehicle service department to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, including labour sales, workshop efficiency, and profitability.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service standards.
  • Implement and oversee warranty, maintenance, and service processes in line with OEM and dealership policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Report on key metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager role, ideally within a commercial vehicle or franchised dealership environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of workshop operations, technical processes, and financial reporting.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to handle escalations professionally and effectively.
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
