We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Insurance Broker to join a leading financial services provider.

You will be responsible for driving new business growth and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert risk advice and tailored insurance solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively hunt, prospect, and secure new commercial clients across various industries.
• Service and grow an existing book of business, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct thorough client needs analyses to structure and place appropriate commercial insurance covers (e.g., Property, Liability, Business Interruption).
• Negotiate with insurers, manage policy renewals, and provide dedicated support through the claims process.

Requirements:

• RE 1 and a full NQF 5 FAIS qualification in Short-Term Insurance.
• 5+ years of proven experience in commercial insurance broking with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Must possess an existing and portable client portfolio, with the ability to transfer this business.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A proactive, “hunter” mentality is crucial.
• Full understanding of FAIS and regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
