Job summary

A leading food service provider in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a dedicated individual to pack and plate orders with the highest attention to detail and speed. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction through great service while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Candidates should preferably have a National Senior Certificate and one year’s experience as a Co-Ordinator, along with well-developed literacy and numeracy skills.

Qualifications

• Must have well-developed literacy skills.

• One year’s experience as a Co-Ordinator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all orders are packed and plated correctly.
• Maintain speed of service.
• Provide great customer service.
• Maintain FOH stock according to Co-Ordinator SOP.
• Maintain food safety standards according to SOP.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure accuracy of orders packed for delivery.

Job description

Purpose

Ensure all orders are packed and plated correctly as per order and that customers receive their orders on time as per our Standard Operating Procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to pack and plate orders correctly


• Maintain speed of service


• Great Customer Service


• Maintain FOH stock according to Co-Ordinator SOP


• Maintain food safety standards according to SOP


• Maintain FOH Hygiene and Cleanliness standards according to Co-Ordinator SOP


• Accuracy of orders packed for internal/external delivery services

Requirements
