Job summary

A leading financial services company in Durban is seeking candidates for a customer service position. Responsibilities

  • Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
  • Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
  • Receive visitors and assist with various requests for information.
  • Ensure that basic customer details held in the system are accurate.
  • Interview the customer to clarify their requirements.
  • Make calls to allocated potential customers to develop relationships.
  • Follow mandatory procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Carry out routine business development support tasks.
  • Identify potential customers and gather referrals from existing customers.
  • Select and input appropriate data into standard formats.
  • Demonstrate understanding of networking value.
