Job Description

Looking for a highly skilled Civil Draughtsman to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD software, a strong understanding of construction principles, and experience working in engineering and infrastructure projects.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field
• Training or certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or related drafting software
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman in engineering or construction firms
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools)
• Experience in technical drawing, material quantification, and compliance documentation
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, materials, and structural detailing
• Familiarity with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical Drawings & CAD Drafting – Create and manage detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
• Site Measurements & Valuations – Carry out on-site measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules
• Project Documentation – Interpret sketches, specifications, and design data to prepare accurate and compliant drawings
• Material Quantification & Scheduling – Interpret material quantities, quality standards, and cost schedules
• Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure all drawings adhere to statutory procedures, industry regulations, and project specifications
• Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project goals
• Project Support & Development – Assist with tender proposals, technical reporting, and maintaining client relations
• Inspections & Reports – Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports
• Technology & Innovation – Stay updated on industry trends, drafting technologies, and software advancements
