Job Description
Job Purpose
At Fundi, clarity and fixed ownership are non-negotiable for long-term digital transformation success. We understand that true transformation extends beyond symbolic change, it demands committed leadership, cross‑functional execution, and sustainable capability building.
As the Chief Digital Transformation Officer, you will act as the Transformation Architect and Integrator, leading the end-to-end execution of our digital transformation efforts. This role requires a strategic leader who bridges business and technology, drives internal alignment, and ensures lasting impact well beyond the consulting phase. - Ensure alignment with Fundi’s strategic pillars including “Building of MyFundiVerse”, “Protect & Grow”, existing business lines and “Reposition for Growth.”
- Monitor, measure and report on digital transformation projects and tasks, ensuring ROI for the business.
Change Leadership
- Act as the visible face of change across the organisation.
- Drive cultural transformation, engagement, and internal communications.
Capacity Building
- Ensure digital fluency grows internally; establish teams and practices that enable long‑term self‑sufficiency, avoiding over‑reliance on external vendors.
Program Integration
- Ensure cross‑functional alignment between IT, business units, and user experience.
- Oversee system rationalisation and prioritisation, including cloud, data, and integration strategy.
Decision Enablement
- Flag trade‑offs and surface design decisions for executive sign‑off.
- Prepare board‑level updates and strategic evaluations.
Transition Planning
- Architect the post‑both‑ model: internal structures, KPIs, team evolution.
- Define interim organisational structures, reporting logic, and enablement plans.
- Set up agile governance cadences and delivery rituals (charters, checkpoints).
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA or relevant master’s degree.
- Experience in business optimisation, culture change, leadership development, organisational design & digital transformation projects.
- 10+ years of experience in leading digital transformation or technology‑enabled change within complex organisations.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise‑level digital projects and managing multi‑disciplinary teams and vendors.
