Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in Construction Management within the mining or processing sectors, strong leadership skills, and a relevant engineering qualification. This position requires effective project management abilities and technical skills in construction execution.

Qualifications

• Matric (Maths & Science) required.
• 5+ years’ experience in Construction Management (Mining / Processing).
• Valid driver’s license & own vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage project initiation, planning, execution, and close‑out per SIB guidelines.
• Oversee fabrication, construction, and commissioning within scope, time, and cost.
• Conduct risk assessments, quality inspections, and contract management.
• Ensure compliance with SHE requirements.

Our client, operating within the mining industry seeks a C&I Construction Manager to oversee multiple Control & Instrumentation (C&I) and Fire Detection / Suppression projects at Smelters. The role involves control software upgrades, hardware replacements, and system upgrades (Profi-bus / Asi to Profi-net).

Requirements

• Matric (Maths & Science) + Engineering Trade / Diploma / Degree in Construction Management.
• 5+ years’ experience in Construction Management (Mining / Processing).
• Strong MS Office & MS Projects skills.
• Valid driver’s license & own vehicle.
• Technical & Leadership Skills in project execution, work delegation, and commercial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project initiation, planning, execution, and close‑out per SIB guidelines.
• Oversee fabrication, construction, and commissioning within scope, time, and cost.
