BUSINESS SOLUTIONS MANAGER

Our client in the Financial Sector Industry is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Manager to join their team in Umhlanga, Durban. Salary – Market Related

Job Purpose

As a Business Solutions Manager, you will play a leading role in the management of several strategic partnerships and will have responsibility for the smooth operation and the revenue associated with these. In addition to the management of certain existing relationships you will also be responsible for the identification and onboarding of new partners and several other growth related projects. This would include overseeing the end-to-end process from opportunity assessment and business case development to proposition development and contracting. This position will require you to work collaboratively with various departments across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Partnership management: Oversee and manage several existing partnerships and work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and performance.
  • Partnership and growth project identification and implementation: Work with senior members of the organisation to identify new partner and growth opportunities. Thereafter, work with other internal stakeholders to lead the process of successfully concluding these relationships.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Apply your experience to ensure that associated products, channels and processes have a strong focus on the customer experience, usability, and appeal and are relevant for the strategic partners and their clients.
  • Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor the performance of existing partnerships, utilising data-driven insights to guide decisions and improvements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about the regulatory environment in the financial services sector and, working with the internal Risk team, ensure that all products, partnerships and their management meet compliance standards.
  • Budget Management: Effectively manage the budget allocated to the partnership in question and work with partners to ensure these budgets are met.
Minimum Requirements
Education

Relevant business bachelor’s degree in (Business, Finance, Economics etc). Honours or master’s degree preferable.

Experience

7-10 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a management consulting, banking, financial services or deal making with experience in dealing with senior stakeholders.
