Qualifications

  • At least 4 years' experience implementing innovative BI solutions.
  • At least 4 years' experience in data analysis, including ETL.
  • At least 4 years' experience with visualization tools, especially Power BI.
  • At least 4 years' experience in SQL for data management.

Purpose: To design, develop, and deploy advanced reporting and analytical solutions to support and enhance business decisions through processing and converting data into actionable insights, delivered in report form, using Company reporting and analytical tools (software) of choice.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (degree/diploma) in statistics, finance, actuarial science, mathematics, computer science, information systems, data or mathematical sciences, data analysis, business analysis, or engineering.
  • At least 4 years' experience implementing innovative BI solutions leading to clear business decisions and benefits.
  • At least 4 years' experience in data analysis, including experience in and understanding of database structure design and data extraction principles (ETL).
  • At least 4 years' experience working with any visualization tools, of which 2 years are on Power BI (DAX, M).
  • At least 4 years' experience in SQL (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) which involved cleaning, enriching, transforming, data mapping, data aggregation, and data normalization suitable for data analysis.
  • Experience managing projects, own work, and initiatives from start to finish, including planning, scoping, budgeting, and timeline management.
