A leading insurance and consulting firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Business Development Consultant to identify new opportunities and develop customer relationships. Responsibilities include implementing marketing strategies, managing pipeline forecasts, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 5-7 years of experience in business development within the insurance sector, and strong communication skills. The Role
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying prospective opportunities, developing customer relationships, implementing WTW South Africa’s marketing and sales plan and fostering the growth of the sales and marketing team.
To drive new business through marketing campaigns, strategic networking events, and client roundtables. Manage prospect tracking, growth and strategy with CRB Leader, Operational Leaders, Production Team and Client Service Teams. Collaborate with Operational Leaders in the management of pipeline forecasting for the market. This position receives some supervision, an independent thinking and problem solving under prescribed standard operating procedures.
