About our Client :

Our client, based in Switzerland, is registered as an Insurance Intermediary with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). They are also a member of and regulated by the Association Romande des Intermédiaires Financiers (ARIF).

Their approach has been developed over years of advising diverse clients in Switzerland, tailoring advice to personal circumstances through active listening. This ensures clients receive what they need, not just what the adviser wants to give.

The company's mantra is simple: Always start with the basics. They focus on making clients efficient rather than rich. Their international team offers advice in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Please note, the client is looking for 2-4 candidates to start on September 1st.

Over the past 24 months, we have successfully placed over 13 South Africans in this remote role, with most still employed and satisfied!

What You'll Do :

The Business Development Associate is responsible for sourcing new potential clients in international markets—clients seeking to invest to secure their financial futures. The role involves lead generation, feeding the pipeline with appointments and leads to drive revenue.

  • Map potential clients across industries, countries, and socio-economic levels, building strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, immigrants (CH), retirees, business owners, and investors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue growth within potential and new accounts.
  • Understand clients' needs and challenges to effectively communicate how our client can address or solve these issues. You are not providing financial advice but must have enough knowledge to secure appointments for industry professionals. Training will be provided.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, growing your appointments regularly to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain all sales activities, including outbound calls, emails, and social selling, and record all activities in the internal CRM system.
  • Consistently exceed monthly sales appointment setting quotas and be well compensated for your performance.
  • Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned at the manager's discretion.

What You'll Bring :

  • Experience in outbound lead generation and sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong telephonic/in-person presence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team toward ambitious goals.
  • Proven track record of high achievement in fast-paced sales environments, with awards or recognitions as evidence.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and time management.
  • Mandatory requirements:
  1. A laptop or desktop computer.
  2. Reliable internet connection (ADSL or Fibre) with proof of service.
  3. Backup power solution for load shedding.
  4. Prior cold calling experience.

Working Hours :

  • Summer hours: 09:30 - 18:30 SAST; Winter hours: 08:30 - 17:30 SAST.

How does our salary package work?

This offer includes: (A Basic Component / Non-variable)

Monthly basic salary: 1,500 CHF (~R 33,272)

Quarterly commission structure, based on 13 weeks of work per quarter.

You will be provided with data to research potential clients; however, proactive digging and research are essential parts of the role.
