Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst will coordinate business analysis activities and serve as the strategic bridge between business process understanding, requirements gathering, and the development of technology solutions. The role ensures that business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into functional specifications to support effective delivery of software and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, and challenges.
  • Conduct end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and business engagement sessions.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, and operational teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Support the development lifecycle by clarifying requirements, validating solutions, and managing change requests.
  • Perform process mapping, gap analysis, workflow design, and problem analysis.
  • Assist in testing activities such as creating test cases, validating functionality, and supporting UAT.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with organizational strategy, compliance, and business rules.
  • Provide ongoing support and analysis during project implementation and post deployment.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across business and technical teams.
  • Adapt to hybrid working requirements and attend onsite sessions when project demands require it.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements
  • IT-related qualification (degree or diploma).
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional Agile or hybrid project environments.
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of the healthcare / medical aid / scheme administration domain.
