Job description

Business Analyst role is responsible for designing, specifying, building, configuring, and testing solutions to deliver the necessary capabilities to business that enable quality solutions and a client‑centric orientation. These solutions include pricing and risk management, their related IT processes, as well as maintenance, testing, and production support for the front‑office suite of applications.

Responsibilities
  • Process design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting in pricing/risk analysis.
  • Systems capability / fit analysis in pricing/risk analysis.
  • Data analysis – analyze data, identify and solve problems, reason logically, and drive valid conclusions.
  • Software analysis – analyze, design, and implement purchased or in‑house applications.
  • Testing and validation of logic and processes implemented.
  • Shared ownership of recurring production incidents with multiple stakeholders to resolve system issues.
  • Weekly production support rotation with the rest of the team.
  • Engage with the macro‑environment to identify new opportunities, capabilities, and trends that add value to the required analysis work.
  • Suggest changes in executing work processes to better drive value and benefits for the business.
  • Prepare and share recommendations for process and systems improvements in relevant areas of accountability.
Qualifications
  • Relevant diploma or degree.
  • Banking / financial services experience or exposure.
  • 5+ years of experience within a similar role.
  • Risk and compliance experience is an advantage.
  • Independent thinker.
  • Stakeholder management and consulting skills.
