Business Accountant - Hybrid
Salary: R40 000 - R62 000 per month

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist accounting and finance services firm that supports growing businesses with day-to-day finance, reporting, and financial oversight, using modern systems and efficient processes. The business works with a broad range of clients across different industries and offers a collaborative, people-focused working environment.

The role

You will manage the full accounting function for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and commercially focused financial support.

Key responsibilities
  • Full accounting through to trial balance and financial statements
  • Monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
  • VAT, Payroll, and Income Tax submissions
  • Budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reporting
  • Supporting cloud-based accounting systems and continuous process improvement
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients
Requirements
  • Relevant accounting qualification with honours
  • Must be a registered member in good standing with a professional accounting body (SAICA, CIMA, SAIPA, or SAIBA)
  • Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
