SUMMARY

Pretoria Consulting firm seeks a Building Service Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technician with 5+ years’ experience in PLCs, SCADA, MV / LV systems, and instrumentation.

POSITION INFO : Requirements

• National Diploma (NQF 6) or BTech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ consulting engineering experience
• Code 08 driver’s licence
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems and instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems
• Skilled with medium voltage switchgear, substations, and low voltage reticulation
• Proficient in AutoCAD for reading and editing drawings
• Experienced in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities
• Knowledgeable in electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Able to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
• Willing to work on-site and join a small to medium multidisciplinary engineering team
