BROKER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - KZ N

Position Description

Specialist Business – a consultant will manage short‑term insurance broker relationships in KZN. The role requires residing in the greater Durban area.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The successful incumbent will service market and sell short‑term insurance products to intermediaries and brokers.

  • Monthly in‑person visits, query handling and claims management monitoring; increasing sales reporting and relationship building.
  • Training intermediaries and brokers on portfolio products and systems.
  • Servicing corporate clients.
  • Attending workshops, conferences or public relations events when required – events may occasionally take place after hours or over weekends.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum matric
  • RE accreditation
  • Relationship management in a broker environment – not negotiable
  • Previous work experience in an unsupervised role
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • Computer literate (intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
