Job summary

A leading security services company seeks a dedicated individual for vault duties at their George Branch in South Africa. This role involves receiving and distributing consignments, alongside preparation and administrative tasks in the vault room. Ideal candidates should possess PSIRA accreditation, at least one year of experience in the security industry, and strong communication skills. Being computer literate is essential. The position requires physical fitness and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Clear criminal record is essential.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in the security industry or similar role.
  • Computer literacy is compulsory.

  • Prepare for vault room duties.
  • Plan vault room schedules.
  • Receive and distribute consignments.

Reporting to the Branch Manager

The above position is vacant at our George Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to distribute and receive consignments.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Clear criminal record
  • PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification is advantageous
  • At least 1 year’s experience in security industry or similar role
  • Computer literate (compulsory)
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work at night
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Physically fit
Job Specification (not totally inclusive):
  • Prepare for vault room duties
  • Planning of the vault room schedules CIT
  • Receiving and distributing of consignments to and from CIT teams
  • Scanning of consignments
  • Balancing of vault and locking up
  • Sorting of consignments
  • Documentation and administration duties
