Vacancy: Bookkeeper

Job Type: Full-time

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in Meyerton. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow their career in finance while gaining experience in a busy and dynamic environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Capture daily financial transactions on Xero (invoices, receipts, payments).
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end processing.
  • Assist with wages and payroll processing on Zoho, including payslips, overtime, and leave records.
  • Prepare and send client invoices; follow up on outstanding payments under supervision.
  • Capture supplier invoices and assist with payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate filing and financial records.
  • Prepare simple Excel reports and spreadsheets (expenses, petty cash, supplier lists).
  • Assist with recording project-related costs (fuel, consumables, site expenses).
  • Provide admin support to the finance team and assist with client/supplier queries.
  • Run errands such as bank visits and supplier drop-offs when required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1–2 years bookkeeping/finance experience (entry-level acceptable).
  • Must be proficient in Xero, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel (non-negotiable).
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Must have own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
Remuneration Package

R 12K – 14K
