Our client, a manufacturer of colorants and additives within the plastics industry based in JHB, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weekly timesheets
  • Processing of weekly wages and monthly salaries
  • Statutory submissions – EMP’s and UIF, WCA (OID), IRP’5s
  • Completion and submitting of quarterly stats
  • Recording sales invoices / issue of monthly debtor statements
  • Capturing cashbook receipts
  • Debtors control and reconciliation
  • Assisting customers with document requests
  • Suppliers purchase journals
  • Monthly creditor invoices and reconciliation
  • Payment Postings into Pastel
  • Petty Cash
  • Bank Payments & Reconciliations
  • Corporate Credit Cards
  • Annual reviews
  • Annual staff salary letters
  • Updating staff job descriptions annually
  • Staff medical aid
  • Maintain employee HR Files
  • Reception Cover
  • Company cell phone contracts

Requirements
  • Matric certificate
