What You’ll Do
  • Select, size, and evaluate battery technologies including Li‑ion, flow, and hybrid systems
  • Design integration with renewable generation and grid‑connected applications
  • Develop charge and discharge control logic for system optimisation
  • Engineer thermal management, fire suppression, and safety protocols
  • Conduct performance testing and develop system acceptance criteria
What You Bring
  • BEng or BSc in Electrical Engineering (Pr Eng advantageous)
  • 5–9 years’ experience in battery systems, power systems, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of BESS technologies, control logic, and system behaviour
  • Experience with grid integration, renewable interfacing, or utility‑scale applications
  • Ability to solve technical problems with practical, implementable solutions
