A leading tech recruitment firm is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, build, and automate cloud environments. This remote role requires deep Azure knowledge and experience in Infrastructure as Code. The successful candidate will optimize performance and reliability while managing CI/CD pipelines. Candidates from the Western Cape are preferred due to occasional travel needs for team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, AAD).
  • Proven hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Solid knowledge of networking and security best practices within Azure.

Location & Travel

This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, preference will be given to candidates based in the Western Cape, as the role requires travel to the Garden Route on a monthly basis for key team collaborations and meetings.
