Overview

Our Client in the Automotive Industry is seeking to employ an Auto Electrician / Auto Diagnostic Technician to their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician with a focus on diagnostics and error code clearing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 8 or higher).
  • Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, and laptops for diagnostics and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Formal motor trade qualification or certification advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs.
  • Identify, clear, and resolve vehicle error codes using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Engage with clients professionally during on-site assessments or service visits.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records using digital tools.
  • Support operational needs, including travel to client sites as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed with precision, safety, and attention to detail.
