Overview

Auto Electrical Education, Training and Development Practitioner Kimberley Market Related

Primary Purpose

We are seeking an Education, Training and Development Practitioner (ETDP) Auto Electrical to ensure that learners and artisans are effectively trained, and that all training meets the required standards in line with QCTO / NAMB guidelines.

Responsibilities
  1. 1. Training Learners / Apprentices
    • Induct learners and artisans prior to training.
    • Conduct trainability and trade test readiness assessments.
    • Facilitate theoretical and practical training.
    • Prepare learners for trade tests within required time frames, as stipulated by QCTO / NAMB.
    • Provide ongoing feedback to clients and secure feedback on training needs.
    • Conduct final assessments in accordance with QCTO / NAMB guidelines.
  2. 2. Administration
    • Compile six-weekly progress reports for clients.
    • Prepare final 12 / 15-week reports and assessment records.
    • Distribute and file hard copies of reports for clients and internal records.
    • Participate in disciplinary enquiries when required.
    • Complete and record internal store requisitions.
    • Ensure assessor registrations are kept up to date with QCTO / NAMB and relevant SETAs.
  3. 3. Consulting Deployment
    • Provide consulting services to the consulting division as required.
    • Generate reports and feedback as necessary.
    • Ensure compliance with travel documentation and travel policy.
  4. 4. General
    • Assist with general on-site maintenance.
    • Assist with private work when required.
    • Accept OHS appointments when necessary.
    • Maintain health and safety standards in the training environment.
Requirements

Minimum Qualification :

  • Recognised Trade Qualification : Auto Electrical.
  • Assessor Training advantageous.

Experience :

  • 5-8 years relevant experience.

  • Ability to identify learner strengths and weaknesses.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
