About the Role
As part of their ongoing growth, my client is seeking an Associate Director – Business Solutions Engineer to address business needs with efficient technical solutions. This person will identify challenges, implement the right tools, and build light integrations to streamline workflows.
A major focus will be on supporting the Verifications Team by automating data-heavy processes—such as parsing bank statements in various formats, extracting relevant financial data, and integrating this into Google Sheets for further analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business workflows and challenges
Evaluate, recommend, and implement third-party or open-source tools
Configure tools to meet specific operational needs
Build lightweight integrations and automation scripts
Create documentation and train users for maintenance and adoption
Deliver projects in short cycles (days/weeks, not months)
Ensure clean, sustainable technical implementations
Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in a technical role focused on solving business problems
Proficient in no/low-code tools (e.g. Zapier, Power Automate, n8n)
Experience with Google Workspace and APIs
Skilled in data extraction (web scraping, PDF parsing, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Python and SQL
Quick to evaluate and adapt new technologies
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions
Bonus: familiarity with private lending, structured finance, financial statements, and payment/banking infrastructure
