An exciting opportunity for a hospitality or travel experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to join this international company based at their SA Head office in Johannesburg.

About - Assistant Marketing Manager:
  • Support the Marketing Manager in planning, executing, & monitoring marketing activities that build brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, & contribute to revenue growth.
  • Strategic support assisting in the development & implementation of marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, while also contributing to market research & competitor analysis.
  • Coordination of execution of integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, & digital channels, managing timelines, briefs, & approvals to ensure efficient rollout, & tracking performance to prepare reports for leadership.
  • Close collaboration with both local & global stakeholders to maintain alignment, ensuring brand consistency across all channels, as well as supporting budget monitoring, reconciliation, & the management of smaller tactical campaigns.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations including creative briefing, approval processes, campaign calendars, reporting, asset library management, & assisting with events, activations, & sponsorship execution.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing or brand management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experiences
  • Experience within international organisations
  • Proven track record of supporting the development & execution of integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, & digital channels.
  • Experience in coordinating creative, media, & production agencies.
  • Hands‑on experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic platforms, DOOH)
  • Understanding of SEO, social media, & performance marketing metrics.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and campaign automation.
  • Experience monitoring budgets, reconciling spend, managing smaller tactical campaign budgets under guidance.
  • Exposure to financial reporting or assisting with budget presentations.

Salary package: R40000 basic + benefits + KPI bonus
