Job summary

A leading construction firm in Cape Town is looking for a Fixed Assets Accountant. You will be responsible for managing and reconciling fixed assets, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a B Compt (Hons) and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This is a permanent position with a market-related salary.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ relevant experience managing assets across multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation relating to fixed assets.

Responsibilities

  • Recording fixed assets and managing ledgers.
  • Reconciliation of fixed assets and preparing movement schedules.
  • Controlling the movement of fixed assets across the group.
