Overview

As an Area Sales Manager for Belmond, Southern Africa, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing day-to-day sales operations, and achieving revenue targets. Our Sales team use their passion, dedication and creativity to make the Belmond philosophy a breathtaking reality. Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Conduct site inspections and business entertaining (which may include after-hours/weekends)
  • Manage and build relationships with leisure accounts for new and repeat business by conducting sales calls, site inspections, FAM trips and all day to day requests for information and rates, for the Area.
  • Assisting the Area Associate Director of Sales, Leisure in preparations of presentations, market research, sales action plans etc for the Area.
  • To identify new opportunities for the business and actively seek out new sales opportunities, for the Area.
  • Attend industry events to network with industry colleagues and remain informed about trends in the industry.
What You Bring:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury hospitality sector
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, written and verbal
