Overview

We are seeking an Area Manager for a permanent role based in Boksburg, Gauteng


Qualifications

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:



  • B.Com Accounting, Finance or other business related field

  • 5+ years experience in business investment

  • Experience in banking, sales and marketing

  • Good leadership / supervisory ability

  • Presentation / communication skills


Responsibilities

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:



  • Collaborate with the marketing division to create awareness of the brand at an area level.

  • Conduct presentations on the company's product offering.

  • Cultivate and build networks with various SME Stakeholders.

  • Recruit, develop, manage, and retain employees at the area office.

  • Manage the investment process of the area office by screening and evaluating proposals, providing guidance on due diligence, review reports and manage credit risk levels of the book.

  • Analyze and interpret annual financial statements and management accounts.

  • Provide input and contribute to the decision-making process at various committee meetings.

  • Proactive review of the area key performance indicators to maximize the area’s performance levels.

  • Collaborate with support functions such as marketing and post–investment divisions to drive and improve the area’s performance levels.

  • Monitor income/expense responsibilities for the area office.
