Qualifications

• Qualification in Information Technology or Information Systems
• Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, etc.)
• Certified Required Experience: Leading and managing software development teams
• Comprehensive understanding of majority software development methodologies including agile
• Customer focused software design principles using design thinking principles
• Project and operational risk management
• Budget planning, forecasting and control
• Strategic and visionary software expert
• Enterprise and Solution Architecture

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure or functional areas
• Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance and scalability
• Produces specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products
• Management of full software development cycle
• Strong stakeholder engagement and effective communication strategy to ensure organization readiness and application adoption
• Liaising with operational environments for Go-Live opportunities
• Document review and approval (Specification, Technical Blueprints, Training, User manuals)
• Supports a change programme or project through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards
• Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution
• Embed Enterprise Architecture framework (APQC) within organisation
• Mapping technology to EA business model; evaluate and solution technology for sustainable business value
• Engaging with strategic technology partners and vendors
• Reporting on process progress and change management
