A growing technology platform company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk & Office Administrator to join their dynamic, process-driven team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and supporting smooth business operations. Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm.

Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in managing the accounts payable function while providing essential office administration support.

Responsibilities
  • Capture, verify and process supplier invoices in the accountingsystem
  • Manage supplier payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice or paymentdiscrepancies
  • Ensure correct VAT treatment and compliance on supplier invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP records and filing systems
  • Respond to supplier queries professionally and timeously and mange supplierrelationships
  • Assist with various month-end close activities, such as bankreconciliations and fixed assets
  • Assist the Senior Bookkeeper with other accounting work asrequested
  • Assist with maintaining the accounts inbox and respond to clientbilling queries
  • Assist with managing Proprietor Registration Forms
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and managementteam
  • Manage office and kitchen supplies and stationery orders
  • Arranging office social events
  • Coordinate office maintenance, service providers and facilitiesissues
  • Assist with onboarding administration for new employees (e.documentation, access, equipment)
  • Providing some ad-hoc Executive Assistant (EA)support to company directors
Requirements
  • Matric(essential), Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping(advantageous)
  • 2–4years’ experience in Accounts Payable or finance administration
  • Experiencein office administration and general admin support
  • Abilityto work independently with a strong sense of accountability
  • Mature,organised, and self-motivated work ethic
  • Experienceusing cloud accounting platforms (preferably Xero)
  • Proficiencywith Dext, Netcash, and Hubspot is advantageous
  • Tech-savvyand confident with modern software tools
