About the Telesales Consultant Position

This position is responsible for expanding the small to medium-size business (SMB) customer base by identifying and securing new clients in the fleet industry. Additionally, the agent will convert new leads into customers within the SMB telesales sector. Furthermore, the agent is tasked with managing the needs of a group of existing customers in relation to Ctrack services.

Responsibilities
  • Promoting and selling the various company products telephonically to self-generated new customers as well as to sell and upsell these products to allocated leads and or existing customers in ensuring that the Agent's allocated sales target is constantly achieved.
  • Actively pursue leads provided by Management and consistently follow up on these leads.
  • Understanding and explaining the various products in detail to new and current clients.
  • Ensuring that clients are contacted and consulted in the event of the possible renewal of the client's contract.
  • Ensuring minimum monthly targets are received.
  • To receive and resolve inbound and outbound telephonic calls and queries from clients as per the Departmental Policy and Procedure for example, renewal of contracts, installations and billing queries.
  • Providing the client with the necessary documentation to resolve the client's request.
  • Liaising with other internal and external parties ensuring that the client's request or query has been resolved.
  • Ensuring that the CRM system is constantly updated with regards to possible leads as well as to update client details.
  • Completing all office administration efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Matric or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years direct cold calling experience.
  • Telephonic selling experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in two languages of which one must be English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Good knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and basic computer proficiency.
