A leading financial services provider is seeking a Report Developer to design, develop, and deploy reports for their stock trading system. Candidates should have strong experience in report development, proficiency in PySpark and SQL, and at least 3 years in IT support or development within the banking sector. This role requires effective collaboration with business teams and the ability to troubleshoot issues during deployment in a fast-paced environment.
The Report Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports for a stock trading system. This role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate reporting requirements. Understand data source mapping and transformation logic.
Design and implement ~100 reports using agreed tools and frameworks. Ensure reports meet documented business requirements and comply with BANK’S standards.
Prepare test cases and validate reports during UAT. Address defects and implement fixes promptly.
Execute production deployment following BANK’s change management processes. Maintain rollback plans and deployment documentation.
Work with the Bank’s teams for access to systems and environments. Provide regular updates and utilisation reports as required.
