We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Web Designer to join our team on a project‑by‑project basis. If you have a proven track record in designing and developing compelling websites using WordPress, Wix, or Shopify, and are passionate about creating visually appealing and highly functional online presences, we would love to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing

As our Freelance Web Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and developing bespoke websites primarily using WordPress, Wix, or Shopify platforms. Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with our team to understand project requirements, brand guidelines, and target audience objectives.

• Translating business needs and user requirements into intuitive and engaging website designs.
• Designing and customising website themes and templates on WordPress, Wix, or Shopify to align with brand aesthetics and functionality.
• Implementing responsive design principles to ensure optimal website performance across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
• Conducting website testing, debugging, and optimisation for speed and performance.
• Ensuring all websites are user‑friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with current web design best practices and SEO considerations.
• Providing clear and concise communication regarding project progress, timelines, and any potential challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience (minimum of 2 years preferred) in web design and development, specifically with expertise in at least one of the following platforms: WordPress, Wix, or Shopify.
• Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing your previous work, demonstrating your design aesthetic, technical skills, and successful project outcomes.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) for mocking up designs and creating assets. Proficiency in front‑end development (HTML5, CSS3) is a plus.
• Design Principles: Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and conversion‑optimised design strategies.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
• Proactive & Reliable: Self‑motivated, able to manage project timelines independently, and consistently deliver high‑quality work within agreed deadlines.
• Location: Based in Singapore, with an understanding of the local market preferred.

Platform Specific Skills

• WordPress: Experience with theme customisation, page builders (e.g., Elementor, Divi), and understanding of plugin integration.
• Wix: Expertise in using the Wix editor/studio effectively, connecting domains, and optimising site features.
• Shopify: Experience with theme customisation (Liquid knowledge is a plus), app integration, and e‑commerce best practices.
