Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a SITE ENGINEER to manage plumbing and sanitary works for projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to read construction drawings. Candidates should also possess good communication skills and a strong initiative for hands-on supervision. This role offers an opportunity to oversee significant projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing & sanitary or M&E projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of PUB, BCA, and NEA regulations.

SITE ENGINEER
(Familiar with Plumbing & Sanitary)

Job Descriptions

• Oversee and manage plumbing and sanitary works for the project.
• Prepare and review method statements, technical submissions, and work procedures.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is completed on time and according to plan.
• Handle cost estimation, material take-off, and technical evaluation.
• Prepare design and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with Authorities, Consultants, Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
• BCA Certificate in Plumbing & Pipefitting is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing & sanitary or M&E projects.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of PUB, BCA, and NEA regulations.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and hands-on site supervision ability.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
