Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Principal Piping Stress Engineer. This role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of piping stress checks and will demonstrate solid technical communication skills. Key responsibilities include reviewing technical requirements, performing static analyses, and collaborating effectively with engineering teams to provide solutions for critical piping systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with exposure to piping stress checks and supports design.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Experience as Piping Stress Engineer/Lead Stress Engineer for 5 years on FPSO/offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Review client's technical requirements for Piping Stress Engineering.
• Prepare critical line list and schedule for stress calculations.
• Perform static analysis using CAESAR II for multiple load cases.
• Provide technical solutions for critical and non-critical piping lines.
• Monitor and approve stress calculations according to procedures.
