Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with above 5 years working experience. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in automated testing for web applications using tools like Selenium or Playwright. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT/web applications by designing and implementing automated tests that improve efficiency and maintain high standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium, Playwright, or other relevant automation tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement test cases, scenarios, and strategies for new features and enhancements.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing for web applications.
• Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and libraries.
• Execute automated tests and identify, report, and track defects through to resolution.
• Monitor and maintain the test environments and ensure test data is properly set up.
• Continuously analyze and improve existing test automation processes and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, identify potential improvements, and help maintain best practices within the QA process.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and communicate issues clearly and effectively to developers and product owners.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in test automation best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (X+ years) in automated testing of web applications.
• Strong experience using Selenium, Playwright, or similar web automation tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript for writing automated test scripts.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated test execution.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a keen eye for identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization for test environment setup.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• If possess working experience with Salesforce Admin / Service Cloud / Public Cloud exposure
