Supply Chain Officer (1-Year Contract)
Job summary
A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Supply Chain Officer for a 1-year contract. The role includes sending invoices, managing order revisions, and reviewing export documents. Candidates with a NITEC qualification and strong customer service skills are preferred, but no experience in supply chain management is acceptable as training will be provided. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, emphasizing multitasking and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills are required.
- Candidates with no experience in supply chain management are welcome, as training will be provided.
- Familiarity with shipping and manufacturing procedures preferred.
Responsibilities
- Send invoices and follow up for required documents.
- Process and manage order revisions for breakages.
- Review and amend the Carrier’s Bill of Lading as necessary.
- Consolidate and send the complete set of export documents.
Skills
Education
Location: Labrador Park
Working hours: 8:30-17:30 (Mondays to Fridays)
Hybrid working arrangement
- Send invoices to Factory and follow up to obtain required documents (e.g., manufacturing certificates, etc.).
- Process and manage order revisions for breakages, ensuring all updates are finalized before invoicing, based on factory notifications.
- Review and amend the Carrier’s Bill of Lading (B/L) as necessary
- Review margin details and verify information before invoice confirmation.
- Consolidate, review, amend and send the complete set of export documents to the Order Team
- Handle LC/DA/DP term orders — apply, consolidate, obtain required signatures, and submit documents to the bank or customer as applicable.
- Apply for marine insurance, review details, and secure the marine insurance certificate.
- Submit tax invoice to the Finance Department.
- Prepare and update reports (weekly and monthly as required).
- Min. NITEC in any field
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision
- Good team player
- Candidates with no experience and interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management are also welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
- Familiarity with shipping and manufacturing procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export documents preferred.
- Customer service skills
- General awareness of world events and issues that affect shipping
