Job summary
A leading travel technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support their Accommodation business. The role involves driving strategic insights through data analysis, collaborating with commercial teams to define business needs, and creating data pipelines and dashboards. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in data roles, strong SQL skills, and a passion for the travel industry. Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a data role, preferably in travel or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills to present data insights clearly.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to define business needs and data requests.
- Design and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for KPIs.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and revenue opportunities.
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

As a Data Analyst, you will be a part of the data team dedicated to supporting the commercial teams for our Accommodation business. Your expertise will drive strategic insights, enhance data-driven decision-making, and optimize commercial performance. This role requires a blend of technical prowess, leadership, and a deep understanding of supply commercial optimization.
- Partner with commercial stakeholders (product, commercial growth) to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable data requests.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of commercial campaigns and treatments
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in accommodation acquisition, conversion, and revenue.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and actionable way to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data science trends and technologies and implement them to improve data analysis capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the commercial team.
- Collaborate with data engineers to have proper reporting data pipelines and with data scientists to perform meaningful experiments and create data product
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a data role, preferably within the travel or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies, including SQL, statistics, and machine learning (a plus).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio).
- Experience working with data pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for the travel industry and a deep understanding of online travel agent (OTA) business models (a plus).
