About our group:

The team is dedicated to supporting all aspects of direct material coverage for hard disk drive (HDD) and Systems on top of New Product Development. They play a crucial role in ensuring that all advanced and new product development initiatives in US Design Centers and Asia factories are fully supported. This involves meticulous planning and coordination to guarantee that all builds are completed on time and in full.

About the role - you will:
  • Work with suppliers to obtain quotes and release Purchase Orders (PO’s) for minimum/maximum (min/max) & mechanical components.
  • Manage min/max report from SAP.
  • Liaise with suppliers to expedite material as needed.
  • Work with shipping & receiving on inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Work with storeroom clerks to ensure inventory is accurate and inventory pulled as needed for product builds.
  • Summarize demand from configuration plans and create supply/demand summaries.
  • Communicate to management & teams on material status.
  • Drive gap resolution as needed with supplier engineering, design engineering and commodity management.
  • Collaborate with customer management, application, marketing, product management, and customers to stay up to date on hardware/software requirements and test plans.
About you:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, Smartsheet.
  • Strong Analytical skills.

  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.Must be self-motivated, quick learner and foster an enjoyable and productive work environment.
Your experience includes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Knowledge and development/test experience in storage technologies in Flash, RAID and storage specifications.
  • 0-2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Purchasing, process improvements or data analysis.
