IT Technician
Job summary
A technology services firm in Singapore is looking for candidates to manage IT operations effectively. Responsibilities include liaising with the IT Coordinator, performing checks on IT hardware, ensuring compliance with data handling policies, and supervising part-timers. Candidates should possess a Nitec in Information Technology or equivalent, have basic knowledge of IT hardware, and strong communication skills. The role requires independence and a meticulous approach, with occasional travel based on deployment schedules.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Liaise with the IT Coordinator to resolve operational issues.
- Perform checks on IT peripherals at customer sites.
- Maintain documentation of equipment status.
- Report discrepancies in returned equipment.
- Pack returned equipment for delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies.
- Coordinate transportation of equipment.
- Supervise part-timers and interns.
Skills
Education
- Liaise with the IT Coordinator to ensure smooth execution of site activities and resolve any operational issues.
- Perform verification and check for any faults on IT peripherals at customer sites.
- Maintain proper documentation of equipment status and their serial numbers.
- Report discrepancies or damages in returned equipment.
- Pack and prepare returned equipment for delivery back to the main office.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security and data handling policies during all tasks.
- Support logistics coordination, including arranging and assisting in transportation of equipment if required.
- Supervise and guide part-timers and interns in daily operational tasks.
- Nitec in Information Technology (or equivalent).
- Candidates with basic IT hardware knowledge are welcome to apply.
