PLC Software Engineer
Job summary
A technology firm in Singapore is seeking a professional for PLC software development and industrial robot programming. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or bachelor in Mechatronics/Automation, experience in Allen Bradley PLC, and a passion for automation. Responsibilities include system integration and providing customer support.
Qualifications
- Some experience in Allen Bradley PLC programming and motion control is preferred.
- Basic knowledge in industrial robot programming.
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of PLC software and interfaces using ladder diagram or structured text.
- Coordinate with engineers and technicians to complete tasks.
- Programming of Industrial robot.
- Visit customer site to provide support for system errors.
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain documentation of PLC programs for reference.

- Coordinate with a team of engineers and technicians to complete all necessary tasks within a project.
- Programming of Industrial robot.
- Visit customer site to provide support for system errors.
- Perform system integration, testing and commissioning of advanced control systems for factory automation system.
- Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs, system configurations, and modifications for future reference and troubleshooting.
- Diploma / Bachelor in Mechatronics/Automation/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
- Some experience in Allen Bradley PLC programming and motion control is preferred.
- Basic knowledge in industrial robot programming (e.g., ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa etc.)
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder diagram, structured text).
- Good problem solving skills.
- Passionate about automation.
